888 is a publishing house for limited edition artworks that gives free rein to a demanding selection of artists to express themselves in the medium of their choice.
To set up these exclusive collaborations, 888’s team of experts travels the world in search of creative artists, from international art fairs to atypical exhibitions, including visits to studios in order to meet and discover emerging artists or collaborate with those already established in contemporary art.
Each artist, chosen for his commitment to art and strong identity, will tell the story that is close to his heart on a work transformed into a multiple, meeting the quality standards of the publishing house.
Each collaboration will give birth to a unique and atypical association of a format, a paper, a technique and a finish, meticulously accompanied by the technical expertise of 888.
Each edition is printed in limited numbers thanks to an art printer with historical know-how and noble materials to realize high quality works certified, numbered and signed by the artist.
888 has selected the workshop Clot, Bramsen and Georges, historical lithographer since 1896 whose knowledge has been recognized for several generations. The workshop, located in the heart of the Marais in the center of Paris, has 300m2 under a glass roof, 3 hand presses, 1 Voirin flatbed machine, 1 intaglio press, 1 cutter, 250 stones (about 15 tons), an electric grain mill, 4 inkjet plotters.
