Lucas Price

Excluded from the London school because of his early experiences with graffiti, Lucas Price (Cyclops) settles in Manchester and plunges into a marginal existence marked by addiction.

Financing this lifestyle through counterfeiting, he spent time in prison and was generally homeless. Emerging ten years later, he found himself stimulated by the growing street art network and founded the Burning Candy crew in London.

His work appeared at the Tate Modern in 2008. An appearance in “Exit Through the Gift Shop”, at Banksy’s request, resulted in an arrest that can be seen in this same Oscar-nominated documentary.

Cyclops’ work earned him a coveted position at the Royal College of Art, where he earned a Master’s degree. He now works from his studio in East London.
