This series is the result of original drawings imagined from objects recovered from places of revolt, during demonstrations in Paris, in this case police projectiles for “maintaining order”.

Tiziano had used graphite, a material made of carbon as well as the black powder that covers the shrapnel of grenades.

These traces persist on these places after the confrontations, leaving behind them a kind of contemporary archaeology. This debris questions the balance of power, as well as the legitimacy of violence, its repercussions, and the use of weaponry.

Each print will be enhanced by hand by the artist with graphite and black powder.
